Waking up early in the morning to write a review takes quite a toll on you. Seeing as how you're probably already aware of my Batman nostalgia, waking up early didn't bother me.
This here review is about yet another excellent animated movie, Justice League: Doom.
The Good
Vandal Savage - a lot more than meets the eye |
I personally enjoyed watching these villains almost win. You will not be disappointed if you're going into the movie expecting a plot that's both original and true to the lore. The JLA are still a team...or are they?

The Bad
Awe...did someone steal your sweet roll? |
Although not much can be said about the renowned talent of Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman but in this movie it seems he's the only character you can relate to. Which isn't surprising since he's the goddamn BATMAN! But at the core, he's really the only superhero you'll ever feel sympathy for. The rest seem to be garnish. Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, etc. They're all basically victims that don't get enough background. I know, what else is there to know about the Justice League. I take it that you're thinking about watching this movie because you're fan, and I say, while it may live up to your expectations, Justice League: Doom doesn't deliver on the whole 'TEAM' concept. It's more of just Batman being the badass caped crusader he is.
