Concert at City Hall (by CFL)

Suddenly remembered the random concert/festival I stopped by last week. I was reminded of this when the Toronto Argonauts won the Grey Cup on Sunday.

They handed out free cans of Pepsi Max (first time trying it -- better late than never right?) along with a demo of the Samsung Windows 8 touchscreen notebooks. They were brilliant. People were doing zip lines too! I so wanted to try it but didn't have enough time as I had to get to work.

Full Man Of Steel Trailer to Debut with The Hobbit

Seems like it was just yesterday I was enjoying some Christopher Nolan flicks and watching some Watchmen madness from Zack Snyder - oh wait...all that really happened yesterday! :/

Anyways, I just heard that the first full trailer for Snyder's epic adaptation of Superman, Man of Steel will be released alongside The Hobbit. This is incredible news. Seeing as how Peter Jackson's epic fantasy film has garnered so much attention already, this is a really good reason to watch the film (for non-fans of LOTR and The Hobbit). I actually seriously can't wait. Because of that, my impatience has caused me to use actually and seriously back to back in the same sentence! As an LOTR fan, this comes across as a pat on the back for me. I'm already looking forward to the movie for it's technical results - the versions shot at 48 fps and such.

What do you guys think of this? Fire away in the comments below! :)

Crytek Up For A New Crysis?

I can't believe this guys! The 3rd Crysis hasn't even been released yet and they're planning a forth one? I don't know about you but it seems a lot like Crytek is giving in to all the pressure and hype building around FPS' these days. Who can blame 'em? Crytek did in fact give us one of the best looking games on console: Crysis 2 - spectacular results all thanks to a next-gen game engine, CryEngine 3.

Granted, the story was a little bland and despite it's forgettable characters and glitchy AI, Crysis 2 was pretty fun to play through. Same can't be said about Crysis 3 though -- because it hasn't been released yet. See what I did there? Crytek is in fact planning on a new Crysis. Just don't call it Crysis 4!

Crytek's Cevat Yerli had this to say: "We are excited about the DNA of Crysis and of the franchise. There can be literally tonnes of titles out there within the franchise. Unlike Far Cry, this time around we feel very flexible about Crysis," Adding to his interview with Eurogamer, "I wouldn't name it Crysis 4 at this stage because it would be misleading. We want to finalize Prophet's story and Crysis 4 would imply the story just moves on."

And if you're wondering when this is likely to happen: "Normally in this time right now we would already have pre-production going on, but because we want to make this something much more radical and new we are looking at it as a bit of a long term thing. It's too early to about it for these reasons."

So there you have it, a new Crysis is on it's way. My guess is that it'll most likely be pushed into the next-gen releases. Possibly, a launch title for the Xbox 720 and/or Playstation 4?

What do you guys think? Comment away!

How to get the best results from Online Translation Software

Translation is simply defined as a process of changing a document from one language to the other. It can be done by either human beings or a machine translator. Online translation is mostly done by machines which are able to translate over thousand languages in the world depending on its capability. They also help a better deal in reducing the work load that could have been done by man. Software are produced in different brands which include the Google translate, world lingo translator website, SDL free translation and the Yahoo Babel Fish.

Translators of high quality give out high expectations in the translation hence the document becomes easy to understand and digest its contents. The market of the translation software is growing rapidly due to the effects that are input daily in the industry. Considering the fact that programs can never be 100% effective in the translation, one has to weigh options before using given soft wares and also learn ways of handling it to output quality results.
Programs like the Google translate are creating visions where one will be able to speak any language where need be.
This gives scientists hopes of developing new programs. Just as man sits down to think, the translators work has to made easier by use of short sentences since long sentences might not be translated correctly. One should also end the sentence with a punctuation mark to enable online machine translators to recognize the end of sentences.
For the translations to be effective, one has to avoid using ambiguous words such as words ending in 'mg', which might make the translation difficult for the software. This should be avoided at all costs to improve the translation speed of the software. One should also make sure that work written has no grammar errors since poor grammar leads to improper translation of the document.
Names of companies or institutions that do not need to be translated and should remain that way should have 'x' at the beginning of the word and at the end. For example, when writing "RVP", one should write it as "xRVPx" so as to retain it in its original form, by avoiding its translation, which would deter its meaning in the end. This gives the program an easy time while translating the context into a given language. Compared to human beings, programs are ideal translators and are mostly reliable due to their excellent speed and cost, giving a better result from online translation done by computers.
The world is being turned into a small village as we can see due to discoveries made in technology. This makes it possible for people with different customs and languages to communicate and associate to accomplish a given task. The translation software makes it possible to read articles, instant messages and emails received in any foreign language. They also double check the spelling errors in the documents given the reader an easy time going through it. Doing this will enable one to get the best results from online translation software. In conclusion, online translation can only be achieved by feeding the computer with the appropriate information to be translated, in its simpler form as seen in the context above, and the information will be translated appropriately.

A Superman We've Never Seen Before?

If you've been following my twitter updates (@TeenageVFX) or my previous posts, you'd know by now how much I love Batman. And with that comes uncontrollable hatred for Superman - Hey, don't judge me okay? It's kinda normal that a batman fan find Superman unappealing.

On the other hand, I'm a Zack Snyder kinda guy too. I absolutely enjoyed his adaptation of Alan Moore's Watchmen. It was dark, grim, and had that rich comic book feel to it that a movie of that hype should. Seeing as how Snyder's behind the latest reboot of Superman, it has changed my views on the superhero. Don't worry, I still think he's as absurd as ever. What strikes me about him though is what Zack Snyder recently said in an interview with LA Times. He explained, “It’s a more serious version of Superman. It’s not like a heart attack. We took the mythology seriously. We take him as a character seriously. I believe the movie would appeal to anyone. I think that you’re going to see a Superman you’ve never seen before.”

“What was it about him that cracked the code that made pop culture embrace this other mythology? What we’ve made as a film not only examines that but is also an amazing adventure story. It’s been an honour to work on. As a comic book fan, Superman is like the Rosetta Stone of all superheroes. I wanted to be sure the movie treated it respectfully.”

With one of my all time favourites, Christopher Nolan behind the project as well, here's hoping this turns out well enough for us Batman fans to sit through.

Let me know what you guys think about this update in the comments below. Can't wait to hear all about it!

Cheers!

The New 52 Batman Comics Are Worth A Read!

Okay, so I recently started reading the new 52 Batman comics (NOT detective comics, The Dark Knight. JUST Batman).
I'm about 5 issues in and it seems that I accidentally got the Spanish prints of issues 6-8. Oops! So far, I'm really enjoying it. I don't know how different the story was - if it even existed - in the older version of the comic, so I can't tell compare. And being a huge Batman fan, I'm quite disappointed in myself!

Court of The Owls is a pretty badass concept, I must say. But I'm surprised there isn't even a 'supernatural' hint to it unlike my expectations. Nightwing, and Robin also make an appearance but nothing beats the charm of Alfred - the ever-trustworthy butler that can work a supercomputer all by himself. I thoroughly loved how we get to explore the history of the Wayne family and it's shockingly violent and grim. The Court Of Owls are born and bred assassins and are now at the verge of slaying Bruce Wayne. This is one of the rarest times when Batman has been mentally overmatched. Not that we didn't already know, there is indeed a weaker side to Batman, and I can't wait to see how this turns out. Right after I get the proper prints!

Trying To Get Caught Up With TV Shows These Days...

There's a flurry of awesome shows on TV nowadays and I've spend too much time catching up on Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. So much that it's beginning to take a toll on me. Just a few hours ago, a buddy suggested I start watching Game Of Thrones again because it got really good at the end of season 2. My answer to that: 'I've got no motivation of doing so, my friend.'

And here I am trying to catch up with Arrow. It seems like an amazing show to watch, plus it's only about 5 episodes in so far (Am I right?)

I guess my fascination mainly has to do with it being based on a DC comic. It could just be my Batman nostalgia backing up on me...

If you are all caught up with Arrow, sound off in the comments about how you liked (or disliked) it...:)

Stay The Heck Away From This Sequel...!

So I had a chance to watch the sequel to Grave Encounters last night with a bunch of friends. It was just horrible...

A Very 'Grave' Encounter...

In a time when we're bombarded by popcorn horror flicks like Paranormal Activity, we may never see an end to found footage films. The Blair Witch Project is largely responsible for popularizing this style of filmmaking. And it's gotten a little unoriginal ever since.

Grave Encounters is a great example of such a film yet with loads of memorable scares to offer...

Brad Pitt In World War Z - Wow?!

World War Z. A soon-to-be epic new zombie apocalypse movie based on a novel of the same name authored by Max Brooks. Aside from the fact that Brad Pitt kicks everything up a notch, there's something really 'weird' about this trailer...

Having watched the entire live-action Halo series, there was a lot of talk going on among fans about wanting a full-fledged feature film. Here are a few reasons why it'd be really cool to have a movie based off of Forward Unto Dawn.

3 Reasons You Can't Wait For The Walking Dead Episode 5

If you've been following Telltale's critically-acclaimed video game adaptation of The Walking Dead, then you are as excited as I am! Which means you really can't wait to get your hands on that last episode! Here's 3 Reasons why...

Assassin's Creed Revelations - Does It Deliver...? [Non-Story Review]

Assassin’s Creed has not only introduced the world to the incredible potential of next-gen gaming, but also to the visually spectacular work that can be produced under strict timeframes. It goes without saying that the AC franchise hit the ground running after unveiling Altair’s saga in November of 2007. However, as of 5 years ago, we as core gamers have come to expect more from the franchise. Some of our expectations include: less linear gameplay, a larger variety of side missions, better and smarter AI/NPCs, and much less diluted and more ‘eye-poppingly’ accurate environments that beg you to free-run through them.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - Weta's Masterpiece of 2011

Just last night I watched Rupert Wyatt's installment in the 'Planet of the Apes' franchise. The film kept me glued to the edge of my spot till the very end. It was magnificent, period.

The Oscar-nominated movie has a very creative, technical, and tedious background to it as one might expect. So I went over to CGSOCIETY and found this behind-the-scenes production focus.

Andy Serkis took his already-renowned talent as a mo-cap actor to an amazing peak by playing the most badass ape ever, Caesar.

Lighting was obviously one of Weta's major concerns, “Because we were doing live motion capture of Andy (Serkis), and that was being translated into Caesar, We had Andy
there on set as a reference for lighting. We spent a lot of time focusing on highlights in the eyes and making sure the eyes read really well.” Serkis was dressed in the motion capture suit “which gave us an idea of what certain values were. We could also look at his skin tones to reference to Caesar’s skin.”

Snow White & The Huntsman: Visual Effects Secrets

Personally, although the visual effects in Snow White and The Huntsman weren't as appealing as I first thought, they were pretty above average. On the scale of visual appeal, the movie doesn't have a lot to offer.

Nonetheless, the following is a good insight into how the troll and mirror man effects in this adaptation of the classic tale came about:

Never Has My Imagination Been Teased To This Extent!

Watched an AMAZING staff picked video on Vimeo. Never has my imagination been teased, chewed and spat out quite like this before!

Directed by Jodeb, 'Language' is surreal and bursting with juicy animation that serves it's purpose and delivers.

'Once more into the fray...' - The Grey

A controversial film that has so much to offer. When The Grey was unleashed at the box office it sparked the interest of many people, including animal's rights activists - arguing about the violent (perceived as false) portrayal of wolves. Which is, however a very invalid point. The Grey seeks to accomplish on land what Jaws did at sea in that nature can sometimes dominate over man while taking it's course.

Ottway (Neeson) after surviving the plane crash

Liam Neeson is part of a stellar cast in this ode to the survival genre, making The Grey one of the most thrilling movies of the year. The characters are so carved out that you will know everything there is to know about them before the credits start rolling. This makes The Grey a bit more than just a thriller as it explores all the different features of the Human when facing the inevitable - death.
Lack of excessive special effects make The Grey a convincing film to watch, that will keep you at the edge of your seat since the very beginning. It's as meaningful to watch as it is brutal.

Once more into the fray

Into the last good fight I'll ever know

Live and die on this day

Live and die on this day

Above are, what I deem to be some of the most touching words I've ever heard in a film. This is the poem, written by director Joe Carnahan himself for the movie, that Ottway recites in the movie. Particularly [SPOILER] the last scene before the Alpha Wolf lunges at him. The final showdown being the decisive factor in 'Live and Die'.

As I interpret, The Grey highlights the area between black and white. In other words, both sides are equally part of the problem. The wolves aren't killing these stranded humans because they're savage beasts, on the contrary it's because these humans are trespassing in their territory (accidentally). And as it is in their nature, the wolves must defend their territory. John Ottway, played by Liam Neeson, at one point himself says, 'They were killing him' - as one of the men is killed by a pack of wolves. Which means that they're not eating him (obviously) - which highlights the fact that they aren't savage beasts but rather intelligent creatures just defending themselves.

Again, this isn't a review - just a few points I felt that should be noted as they movie went through plenty of scrutiny after it's release for 'negatively' portraying nature.

Overall, the Grey is a gut-wrenching movie that is effective and praise-worthy. If Liam Neeson isn't nominated for an Academy Award for his role as John Ottway, I will be one unhappy land-lubber.

And if you'd like to see Liam Neeson vs. The Wolf Pack, I highly encourage you to pick up a copy of The Grey today!

[SPOILERS!]

Here's an excerpt from an interview with director Joe Canahan at ScreenRant about the controversial ending - If you haven't seen the movie, STOP - RIGHT NOW!

JC: “I’m more interested in your interpretation. The very basic thesis is, ‘As important as it is how you live, it’s equally important how you die.’ People say, ‘What does the title mean?’ That’s it, it’s the grey. It’s the grey area. It’s between life and death, this nebulous thing that you don’t really understand. There’s an Easter Egg, there’s one shot at the very end, post-credits. So what does this mean? You tell me. I have one word; I think it’s harmony. That’s what that shot is, and whatever you want to extrapolate from that is up to you. It’s something my wife said early on: They thought that everybody died in that crash and all those guys were just facets of Liam’s personality, and that all those conversations were imagined. He’s the only one that lived. I thought, that’s brilliant. Great! [Laughs] When people start making their own attachments, that’s brilliant. My only hope for the film is that it plays beyond the two hours it takes for you to watch it.”

Is it Contagious? - My thoughts on 'CONTAGION'

So evidently I just watched 'Contagion' directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Scott Z. Burns; Rated it 4/5 stars on Flixter and reviewed it as follows:

"Contagion will do for shaking hands what Jaws did for swimming. It's THAT effective!"
I'm going to assume that I don't exaggerate my opinions because it's true, Contagion was one helluva movie. I had heard about the film when I was at Ryerson during Fall 2011; there were a bunch of volunteers going around with banners titled, 'Nothing Spreads Like Fear - Contagion'. An interesting way of advertising this film seeing as how it has everything to do with informing others with what YOU know and how it may concern them. Of course I didn't realize this until I saw the movie a couple of days ago.

It's unique style of cutting away scene after scene and covering all corners was the most appealing aspect of the movie. After all, it's not your everyday sci-fi thriller where you have a viral outbreak wiping out the mass population of the earth. It's more than that. Contagion's viral outbreak brings it's characters together and in some cases changes those characters. The suspense never stops as you're never given that 'It's over' feeling, in fact you're made to expect more chaos to occur.

There's politics in the movie. Period. You've got families struggling to stay intact, a freelance journalist who's more than meets the eye, a medical official who's willing to test vaccines upon herself, and a WHO worker determined to save a village from being eaten alive by the virus with no means to protect themselves. Take all of this, and the fact that each of these characters have a personal life of their own and what you get is a society much like our own. With that in mind, it suffices to say that Soderbergh's 'Contagion' delivers on so many levels. A few puzzling questions left unanswered but it's not a good thriller if everything is made obvious.

Without giving anything away, this was the gist of what I felt about Contagion. If you want to be a part of this crisis and want to indulge in the glass case of emotion this movie builds around you, then feel free to purchase your own copy from Amazon (that's what I did).

Contraband - A Convoluted Mesh

After trying to avoid it for a while, I finally saw Contraband last night. Needless to say, I saw it merely out of pity for the poor thing.

It wasn't all that bad, but was quite disappointing. I gave it 2.5/5 stars on Flixter. Contraband's only strength may be the presence of Mark Walhberg alone.

Enjoying My New Wacom Bamboo Graphics Tablet

So I just bought my new (and first) Wacom graphics tablet, called the Bamboo Capture. [Wacom Bamboo Capture Pen and Touch Tablet (CTH470)] I mainly bought this to relieve myself of the heavy use my mouse has been going through doing Stereo and multi pass compositing, and a graphics tablet is a more ergonomic and efficient way to go about your business and navigating through your computer.

It really is phenomenal! After seeking advice from various artists on whether a Bamboo would be right for me - it just so happens that the Bamboo is Wacom's low-end line, mostly for non-business purposes but it is just as sturdy and usable as their more professional Intuos tabs.

I've been using for a while now (it's been almost a day since I bought it) and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It is fast, easy to set up, and does more than just acts as a substitute for your mouse.

In fact, it's also capable of being used as a multi-gesture touch pad for your laptop.

It has 4 buttons that you can customize and point to various tasks on your comp - such as having shortcuts for programs that you use most often - all done through a very easy to use and intuitive control panel (comes on DVD). It also has 1024 levels of pressure, which I believe is twice that of the Bamboo Fun tablets they previously had. Wacom has gone ahead and upgraded their low-end line to meet the needs of 'the everyday artist/photographer'. It ships with a DVD with 3 programs - including Adobe Photoshop Elements 8, Autodesk Sketchbook Express and NIK Color Filters (for Photoshop Elements).
As an artist told me the other day that you're really paying for the tablet not the software it ships with so make wise decisions as your tablet will stick around for a long time. You're expected to replace your PC more than your tablet. And I think he was right because this is one durable device.

I think this is a great start to a meaningful relationship with my Bamboo. Looking forward to exploring more and more everyday and putting it to good use. In fact I'm using it right now to go through all these buttons on my dashboard! - Best $99 I've spent yet!

The Lorax and The Massive Amount Of Boredom I Had To Face...

Don't get me wrong, the Lorax did have it's moments throughout, but that doesn't take away from the sheer boredom it has to offer alongside it.

How Immortals Lowered My IQ...

Here is number 1 out of the 3 movies that I've watched recently -  released between last year and present, that I found intolerable, pathetic, and perception-distorting.

The Expendables 2 - All It Was Set Out To Be.

I wasn't too keen on the first film and had pretty good reasons to believe that - the film was marred by a thinly-written script and an overused plot. It nailed the 'action' part of the genre but the emotional tease that you expect from a movie of this caliber was non-existent. This wasn't the case with the sequel.

In fact, the sequel was surprisingly a whole lot more gripping and watchable than it's predecessor. When you call something an action movie, give me mind-blowing action - probably what this series will be known for from this point on. And I won't lie, I enjoyed it. Even more so than I expected. You never got to know the expendables properly in the first film, and this one doesn't bother to fix that. But the fact that all these guys do is kick ass all day it's better if you don't know much about them - I think you'll agree that it's mystifying (to say the least).

So obviously I couldn't go ahead and find a VFX take on the movie (which wasn't particularly hard to find - thank you YouTube!)

Have a looksy!

I also, having expected the barrage of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator allusions, he does manage to get a kick out of you every time he says, 'I'm back' or 'I'll be back' - to which Bruce Willis simply replies, 'You've been back enough!'. I thought this was brilliant!

Vudu.com. A Netflix Killer?

So chances are you're already an avid Netflix-er. Netflix took the world by storm when the service was released to the masses. For $8 a month, you could stream TV Shows and Movies on any platform whenever, and wherever you wanted. Which was brilliant! It became so popular that it caused DVD-rental franchises like Blockbuster to go bankrupt. (True Story)

Vudu's intuitive UI makes selecting on-demand movies easier!

But now it looks like even Netflix has got some pretty sweet competition brewing. Enter Vudu.com. Without further ado, let's run down some of Vudu's services.

Vudu's movies are in HDX - the highest quality true 1080p HD available on the internet. It supports crisp Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 surround sound along with more on-demand content than anywhere else. More is added each week!

You're probably wondering how much it'll cost you. Well, keep in mind that you only pay for what you watch, so $2 for 2 nights should be more than enough for you to use without having to worry about any monthly or late fees!

Similar to Netflix, you can stream Vudu on a multitude of devices. This includes, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Roku, Bluray/TV, iPad etc. If it's out on DVD, you can watch it TODAY! Get the movie on video without the hassle of having to pick through last year's stock on-demand!

Sign up for Vudu.com today and receive one free movie from a selection of movies! Offer valid November 1 - 30, 2012.

NGames Makes Insanely Fun Online Games!

In the midst of all these little online games we're so used to playing, like Heli Attack on Miniclip and such, here comes NGames with their brilliant line of games.

NGames is a growing webgame publisher. They've garnered positive reception from all over the online gaming universe under their Game321 brand. I was just browsing around their and noticed some pretty neat games that I can't wait to try in the next few days.

Game321 is a step forward in large-scale integrated game environments, that harness the power of social networking. Their work is not only visually stunning, but is appealing to a wide range of gamers. Enter Pocket Ninja, their Naruto/Bleach inspired and a growing catalogue of games like Anime Trumps, Immortal King, and Navy Force etc.

Check out pocket ninja 2, it's simply amazing!

Pockie Ninja has gathered more than 11 million registered users around the world from March 2011 to Jan 2012. A new user is generally addicted to Pockie Ninja for about 6 month, and its order amount is around $27 in average.

Halo 4's Opening Is The Best I've Seen So Far...

I don't know about you but Halo 4 was only recently added to my much-anticipated games of 2012 list this year. And I'm hoping to fetch my copy soon. But the following official opening cinematic opened my eyes to the possibility that Halo 4 may be the best Halo yet!

The cinematic is simply epic! Check it out!

Path for iOS

Looking for a nifty little app where you can keep up with as many friends as intuitively as possible? Enter Path, for iOS. I've had this on my iPhone 4 for a little over 2 months and I can honestly say that I'm addicted to it.

Sign up is easy. You can sign up with your Facebook or create an account using your email. Don't worry though, you can link sites like Facebook, Instagram, Foursquare, Tumblr and Twitter later on. What lies ahead of the sign-up process is a gorgeous interface that is both clean and intuitive.

The whole idea is to catalogue what you do in your daily life for your friends to see. There are a multitude of different 'moments' you can add to your timeline. If you're listening to music, you can check-in to that and the app will locate the song you're listening to on your iDevice.

So how do you know if your friends have seen your latest check-in? Well, you can either turn on push-notifications via the settings tab or simply sign in and you'll see a small counter beside your check-in. The number tells you how many of your friends have seen it. Your friends can also comment or 'like' the moment by using emoticons - they're always good to have in any social networking app, right?

One of the main uses for smartphones these days is photography. Or as they call it, 'iPhoneography'. Path has various cool filters that you can use for your pictures; much like Instagram. You can share these with your Twitter, Facebook etc. just by tapping the correct icons as you're about to share.

Another cool thing about the app is the 'Go to sleep' and 'I'm Awake' feature. If you're about to go for a nap, simply tap the crescent shaped button on the bottom left corner and you can choose to 'Go to sleep'. And when you wake up, hit 'Awake' and you can resume with the app and go about your day-to-day activities.

Brilliantly rate, Path is an amazing app! And it's free! Check it out on iTunes today and get your download.

Cheers! :)

Waking up early in the morning to write a review takes quite a toll on you. Seeing as how you're probably already aware of my Batman nostalgia, waking up early didn't bother me.

This here review is about yet another excellent animated movie, Justice League: Doom.

The Dark Knight Returns Part 1

Having read the amazingly-epicly-awesome graphic novel, I gave this a watch. Thank-you DC for splitting this into a 2-part series. Should be worth our while!

Wreck-It Ralph - 8 Thumbs Up!

To be honest, I didn't know exactly what to expect while going into Wreck-It Ralph over the weekend as I had never played the video game Fix-It Felix as a child; hence, rendering me unfamiliar of the the protagonist, Wreck-It Ralph.

First things first, you DON'T need to be a fan of the game or have even played it in order to watch the movies, and since I've never played the game, I won't be comparing and contrasting the movie with it. Now that that's out of the way, let's take a look at it's strengths.

Exian iPhone 4/4S Case Review - Digital Camera

So I bought this really cool case for my iPhone 4 the other day. It's made by Exian - they come up with really exotic designs, I have another one by the same company and it's designed like an old-fashioned cassette. I'm pretty sure they're being sold for a cheaper price in-store as I ordered this online at Best Buy for about $8 if I remember correctly. But their cases are really worth the price-tag. Not only are the shapes/designs elegant but they're also built to last and are very durable.

This one in particular slides in and out of my pocket easily and doesn't take up a lot of space - at least not like those Otterbox ones which I think are ridiculous but it depends on YOU! The case is very lightweight and since the entire design is carved out of silicon, it is sure to protect your hard-earned Apple investment from scratches and impacts. The unique design also enables you to access all the buttons and ports at ease!
